Zach Timson is a writer, actor, and producer from Atlanta, Georgia. After starting his career at 11 years old as “Michael Banks” in Disney Theatrical Group's Broadway national tour of Mary Poppins, Zach moved out to LA in 2013 and has been an Angeleno ever since!
As an actor, Zach is best known for his work on the Emmy-winning Netflix sketch series The Who Was? Show, where he played 40+ characters. To this day, Zach performs in local musicals and improv theaters such throughout Los Angeles. Zach can also be seen on YouTube in his viral video, "The Broadway Coronavirus Medley" and in the indie animated series Para(NOT!)Normal, where he also works as a staff writer.
As a writer, Zach received his Bachelor's in Screenwriting from CSUN in 2023. He has won multiple awards for his television pilot scripts and a marketing award for his original musical, To All Our Dead Pets. He has written for iHeartMedia’s The Who Was? Podcast, helping the team win a Silver Medal Signal Award for Best Kids Podcast in 2022, and he is currently writing a brand new original musical, Celebrity Jeopardy: The Musical.
He currently works as Project Coordination Intern for Walt Disney Imagineering, where he is responsible for streamlining communication and efficiency across his scopes. Prior to WDI, Zach worked for The Walt Disney Company as an actor for Disney Theatrical Group and Disney Channel, a cast member at Walt Disney World, and as Jungle Cruise Skipper and Trainer at the Disneyland Resort. Zach was also lucky to collaborate with writers and producers from Disney Television Animation for the unofficial Phineas and Ferb parody, "Musical Without a Cool Acronym."
Zach is passionate about making people laugh and dreams of becoming a writer, performer, or producer for a late night comedy series, half-hour sitcom, or a beloved theme park attraction. He loves his family, his girlfriend Julia, and his dog Cali, and he also used to be able to ride a unicycle. That last detail is not super important, he just thought you should know.
